Wed, 11 April 2007 Hello to all our listeners/readers out there. I've taken a break from my weeklong bout of the flu/hangover to give you an update on what's going on around here. First off, the next podcast episode is going to be delayed a week until the 22nd. Due to the aforementioned flu and hangover, as well as technical difficulties, work and assorted other events we have been unable to get the show recorded. Secondly, my mixer board and microphones are here! yay! so starting with the next episode you should hopefully notice a sizeable step up in production quality. Tue, 9 January 2007 So as was pretty much expected the iTV (now called apple TV) was demoed. Looks very nice, streams HD (low end HD - the 720p), has a 40 gig Hard drive, wireless (b, g and n[!]) . Video, music, photos as expected. The other biggy was the iPhone - again as expected. ONLY BETTER. The list of features on this thing is incredible. Too incredible for me to list them all in fact. Music was supplied by John Mayer. Whose song "Gravity" was also featured on an episode of house (cane and able) New apple ads are also pretty sweet. Nothing completely out of the left field, but the iPhone was so unexpectedly good that I'm willing to forgive. Well done to apple from me, they've done it again. Edit: Also!! It's been brought to my attention that the AirPort Extreme base station was quietly upgraded.
